Adds Caller ID on PC and Other Innovative Home Phone Service Applications At No Additional Cost to Consumer

Livonia, Mich. - July 15, 2009

Bright House Networks (BHN) today announced that Caller ID on PC is scheduled to be launched at the end of July on its Home Phone (HP) product in the Detroit area. The Caller ID on PC function alerts customers, regardless of where they are connected to the Internet, when someone calls their Bright House phone so that they never miss an important call again, and is exclusively available to Bright House Networks Home Phone customers at no additional cost.

Caller ID on PC is part of a new series of features found on Bright House Networks easy gadget, an innovative messaging application that allows users to monitor their home phone services through a control panel on their Windows and Macintosh personal computers. The cross-platform service combines the benefits of a BHN customer's bundled high-speed data and phone services, providing them with access to many features and conveniences that might not otherwise be available, including personalized contacts, recent call history, voicemail on PC and text messaging. Customers will be able to download and install the Bright House Networks easy gadget with Caller ID on PC and all the above features by visiting www.brighthouse.com. With Caller ID on PC, Bright House customers are unique in being able to take advantage of Caller ID across their - phone and PC.

"At Bright House Networks, we are committed to listening to our customers, and their feedback showed us an appetite for simple, intuitive technologies that make using our products and their lives easier - whether it's scheduling their own television viewing through the convenience of their DVRs, or managing their phone service through their PCs," said Bob McCann, president of Bright House Networks' Detroit division. "We are the only phone provider in Detroit to offer Caller ID on PC, and we will also eventually be adding other appealing consumer features."

BHN is celebrating five years as a telephony service provider, and continues to enhance its phone service, adding features including new international calling plans and Enhanced Directory Assistance. BHN's Home Phone service is one of the most feature-rich phone products on the market today. In addition to enjoying a crystal clear phone connection, all Home Phone customers get ten popular calling features including caller ID, call waiting, three-way calling, call forwarding, call return and more.
