Bright House Networks of Michigan expands High Definition News, Sports and Movie Channels
Ten new, free channels available beginning on August 4th for customers

Livonia, Mich. - July 30, 2009

Bright House Networks, the home of Free HD, announced today that effective August 4th, subscribers will have access to an additional ten HD channels. BHN of Michigan President Robert McCann made the announcement.

Customers will have access to the following channels all in high definition:

  • WGN America HD (Channel 218)
  • Fox Business Network HD (Channel 222) and Fox News Channel HD (Channel 224),
  • MSNBC HD (Channel 225) and CNBC HD (Channel 226)
  • Turner Classic Movies HD (Channel 237) and AMC HD (Channel 238),
  • Planet Green HD (Channel 275)
  • ESPNews HD (Channel 276)
  • Independent Film Channel HD (Channel 284)

"We know how important it is for our customers to watch their favorite programs in HD and believe they will be pleased to now experience these popular networks in HD."

With the addition of these ten HD channels, this brings the total to 51 free HD channels included in Bright House Networks' digital variety package.
